I've attached the extracted icon.brlyt file and the converted icon.xmlyt file from the PAL WAD. You can observe this by comparing the icon in the Wii system menu after installing the edited WAD versus the banner in USB Loader GX.
#MARIO PARTY 2 WAD DOWNLOAD MOD#
From looking at the XML itself, the animation is far less complicated on the mod by wilsoff. I used CustomizeMii to extract all of the brlyt, brlan, and tpl files from both the M the MaN's PAL WAD and the one WiiGSC generates, converted the brlyt and brlan files to XML with benzin, and diffed each file to whittle it down to just the one. This is what Shrim suggested in #35, but I found that only the icon.brlyt file is necessary to change. That said, certainly take precautions (BootMii, Priiloader, etc) in case something isn't saved properly. Save WAD.īy replacing the icon.brlyt, the banner is less complex and you should not have a banner brick. Replace the icon.brlyt with the one extracted earlier.
If you need more information, I'd be happy to provide it. Please help me out here? I'm going crazy, pulling my hair out over this! I know that my backup is good, because it plays on the USB loader without fail. I tried using CustomizeMii to modify the USB Loader GX WAD and Mario Party 9 WAD as M Tha Man and Kurczij spoke of, yet it still doesn't work. It installs just fine on my Wii running 4.2U, and no freezes! However, when I try to play the game from the WAD, it says that it's searching for my USB drive, yet it's plugged in, and all of my other games on the drive load without issue!Ĭould somebody fill me in on what I am doing wrong? I have Googled for hours, and couldn't find anything that would help me. I was unable to run a Loadstructor created WAD for Mario Party 9 because of the Banner Brick, so I used WilsonFaboziManjador's link for the NTSC version of the "modified" WAD of Mario Party 9. I'm sorry to post on an older thread, but this thread replicates my problem perfectly, so I think creating another thread would be wasteful.
